FACULTY OF LETTERS

MISSION

The primary mission of the Faculty of Letters is to raise individuals who adopt the values ??of the Republic of Turkey, can compete in their own field and have the knowledge and competence to lead the development of society.

In addition, the main missions of the Faculty of Letters are:

MISSION

to raise individuals who adopt the values of the Republic of Türkiye, who can compete in their own field and have the knowledge and competence to lead the development of the society,
to contribute to national education policies, regional development and the development of the country in the fields of social sciences and language,
to increase international and intercultural interaction with education and research activities in different languages and literatures,
to increase the international recognition of Turkish culture,
to increase the international recognition of Turkish culture and to carry out projects and publications with high impact factor in language, literature, thought, culture, art and folklore studies.

VISION

Primarily to be an institution that can compete nationally and internationally in education and R&D,
to contribute to the creation of a social structure that includes individuals who believe in the values of the Republic of Türkiye, who can predict the future with a strong background, who have critical thinking, who believe in science and respect human rights,
to establish education and R&D targets in accordance with the policies of the institutions of the Republic of Türkiye, especially the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism,
to contribute to the fields of education, R&D and community service in accordance with the Presidential Development plans and targets,
to contribute to the increase of interdisciplinary studies, especially in the field of social sciences,
to increase the quality and national and international recognition of academic staff.
