(Mission & Vision)

Mission

Our main mission is to produce graduates who are well-equipped in various fields such as Japanese language, literature, culture, history and cinema, also have academic thinking and analysis skills, and are able to conduct interdisciplinary studies. Our training focuses on acquiring modern and classical forms of Japanese language and literature, reading and writing Japanese texts, developing effective writing, speaking, listening skills and critical thinking ability.

Vision

The Department of Japanese Language and Literature was established in 1994 within the part of the Department of Eastern Languages and Literatures, and education started in the academic year of 1994-1995. The education is 4 years, 8 semesters and covers 240 credits. Students are entitled to receive a bachelor's degree if they successfully complete their education. Our department's academic staff have adopted the main vision of raising students with the above qualifications and providing quality education every year.
