Graduates of the Department will:
1. have knowledge about Armenian grammar, Armenian Culture, Armenian History and Armenian Literature,
2. gain the ability to write, read and speak Armenian,
3. use and apply the knowledge gained in his/her field in the fields of education and research,
4. work independently, especially in the field of Armenian-Turkish, Turkish-Armenian translation, or take responsibility as a team member,
5. plan activities for the development of employees under his/her responsibility in the relevant field,
6. plan personal and institutional development by using the knowledge and skills in the field,
7. evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired in the field with a critical approach,
8. determine the learning needs of the employees under his/her responsibility and manage the learning processes,
9. develop a positive approach for life-long learning,
10. support the solution proposals for the problems related to the field with data and share these data with the experts and non-experts in the relevant field through various communication tools,
11. participate particularly in various social, cultural and artistic activities in the field of Armenian Culture,
12. follow the information in the field by using Armenian and keep in touch with experts and non-experts in the relevant field,
13. use informatics and information technologies at an advanced level along with the computer software required by the field,
14. gain universal consciousness by having an objective perspective towards his/her own nation via using the knowledge in the field of Armenian language, literature and culture. In addition, he/she respects all kinds of cultures, gains awareness of social justice, and protects his/her historical and cultural heritage,
15. conduct research and analysis in the field of Armenian language, literature, culture and history,
16. develop individual skills on literary issues.
