  • Uses acquired knowledge and skills in the field of Turkish Language and Literature. Takes responsibility as a team member in studies carried out in other fields of social sciences.
  •  Learns the theories and methods about reading, understanding, analyzing and interpreting the works in the field of Turkish Language and Literature and applies them with a critical perspective on the works. He plans by completing his personal and corporate development.
  •  Develops a positive attitude towards lifelong learning with the knowledge, skills and competencies gained in the field of Turkish Language and Literature.
  •  In the field of Turkish Language and Literature, it organizes, transmits and stores information with quantitative and qualitative data by using information and internet technologies; with individuals and institutions.
  • Acquires foreign language knowledge at a level that can follow current researches in the field of Turkish Language and Literature and communicate with colleagues. With this foreign language knowledge, he/she follows and uses the information in his/her own field.

  • Learns the alphabets in which the historical dialects of the Turkish language are written. Makes cultural, religious and linguistic analyzes and evaluations on the texts by transferring the texts written in these alphabets to transcription and Turkey Turkish written language.
  • Learns the alphabets in which the modern dialects of the Turkish language are written. He/she transfers the texts written in these alphabets to transcription and Turkey Turkish written language and conducts linguistic and grammatical studies on them.
  • Makes scientific analyzes and evaluations in accordance with the historical periods of the field of Modern Turkish Literature and literary historiography. By learning the history, stages, development and characteristics of the periods, he explains the main movement, school, literary environment, writers and poets that dominate the periods with their works in verse and prose.
  • Researches and learns the history of Classic Turkish Literature. He reads the verse and prose texts of old Turkish literature with the Ottoman Turkish alphabet and transfers them to today's letters. Performs prose translation, commentary, interpretation, analysis and examination studies on these texts and learns the necessary methods. Comprehends the verse forms used in Classic Turkish Literature and acquires knowledge of prosody.
  • Comprehends the oral, written and electronic cultural environments that provide the emergence of Turkish Folk Literature; learns the basic characteristics of oral culture and makes analysis and evaluation on folk literature texts. By comprehending the basic principles on which these texts are built, they will be aware of the historical and socio-cultural development of folk literature shaped around Anonymous, Minstrel and Islamic Monastery literature.
